Privacy Policy

This policy explains what onurcangenc.com.tr collects when you visit, and what happens to it. The site is run by one person, Onurcan Genç, and has no company behind it.
What the site collects
Two third parties see your visit.
Google Analytics 4 (property G-VM918BCYQF) records which pages you open, how long you stay, where you arrived from, your country and city, and your device, browser and operating system. It does not receive your name or email address, and GA4 truncates IP addresses before storing them. Google's own terms are in Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a CDN and reverse proxy, so it processes the IP address and request headers of every visit for routing and abuse protection. Cloudflare Web Analytics also loads a small script that measures page performance without setting a cookie.
The site shows no advertising and runs no ad network.
Cookies
Only Google Analytics sets cookies here:

Cloudflare may set its own security cookies when it needs to challenge suspicious traffic. You can block or delete any of these in your browser settings, and the site still works.

- Seeing which research posts people actually read
- Finding pages that load slowly or break
- Deciding what to write next
I do not sell, rent or trade any of it. Nothing is shared beyond Google and Cloudflare, except where the law requires it.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you can ask me to:
- Access the data held about you
- Erase it
- Restrict how it is processed
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests

How long it is kept
Google Analytics keeps event data for as long as the property's retention setting allows, then deletes it. I store no analytics data and no personal data on my own servers.
Children
This site is not aimed at anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date.
